TRE offers new fully built 5-speed transmissions for the 1996–2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4 through 9. Each transmission includes new throw-out bearing, clutch fork assembly, slave cylinder assembly, and speedo pulse generator.
Stage 1 — $2,950

Stage 2 — $3,350
The Stage 2 transmission upgrades the gear ratios and adds shot-peened gearsets and an oiling upgrade for increased durability under higher power.

Stage 3 — $4,350
TRE's Stage 3 transmission is as good as it gets in a fully synchronized gearbox. It is the last step before a dog engagement gearset. The durability and service life have been increased through gear detail work on the lead edge and root diameter of each gear tooth, allowing the gearsets to handle higher torque without failure. The gearset then receives high-intensity shot peening, raising ultimate strength by over 20% while reducing wear. High-RPM shifts are not a problem — engagement teeth are modified to increase the shift window. Isotropic Super Finishing of the complete gearset, hubs, sleeves, shift rails, and shift assembly delivers silky-smooth shifting. Oil passageways are enlarged and the gearset is blue-printed to the case before final assembly.
